James Kapadia

James is the Owner and Director of Aspiria Legal and is focused on supporting the Exeter legal market.

James started his recruitment career back in 2006 and learned his trade from the bottom up, starting as a consultant, then manager, then director within a large independent agency. He launched Aspiria Recruit in 2017, with the aim of supporting the local legal market and providing the very highest levels of client and candidate service. “My aim is to work with a manageable number of people at any one time, so that I can offer people as much of my time and energy as possible, while getting the best results for my clients and candidates.”

James lives in Exminster (just 4 miles south of Exeter) with his wife Hayley and three boys Arlo, Myles and Laurie. He enjoys cycling, motorsport, football and sea-swimming, as well as exploring Devon’s countryside and beaches.

Katie Ostler

Katie first came into contact with Aspiria Legal as a candidate, back in 2018. After that, she gained valuable legal knowledge and experience, having worked at one of the Southwest’s very top law firms, dealing with new enquiries and providing clients with high-quality service.

Since joining Aspiria Legal in December 2024, Katie has gone on to become a leading legal recruiter for the city of Plymouth, while also being instrumental in the launch of our Bristol offering. Now the senior recruiter for both Bristol and Plymouth, Katie is committed to providing the highest levels of service and support to both candidates and law firms across the two cities, also being well-placed to support legal professionals looking to relocate up or down the M5. She is passionate about her job and also has a mildly amusing sense of humour!

Katie lives in Tiverton with her husband Shane, as well as her rescue dog, Taiga, and cat, Arwen!
