We are looking for an experienced commercial property lawyer to take on a senior role within a growing team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor or a Chartered Legal Executive with practising rights, bringing strong technical capability and the confidence to help lead the team. This is a hybrid role, with regular attendance at one of the firm’s offices required; it cannot be undertaken fully remotely.

The successful candidate will help develop the commercial property team, support colleagues in their professional development and contribute to the continued progress of the department. They will combine sound legal judgement with a collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues and providing a high standard of service to clients. This opportunity will suit someone who is ready to take on a visible, senior contribution within a local practice serving individuals, families and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead and grow the commercial property team.

  • Apply strong technical expertise to commercial property matters.

  • Support the development of colleagues through guidance and knowledge-sharing.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective delivery of the department’s work.

  • Contribute to the continued development and progress of the commercial property department.

  • Maintain a high standard of service for clients.

  • Attend one of the firm’s offices regularly as part of the hybrid working arrangement.

Experience and Skills Sought

  • Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with practising rights.

  • Experienced commercial property practitioner with strong technical capability.

  • Able to contribute at a senior level, support colleagues and help develop a team.

  • Collaborative, approachable and confident working with clients and colleagues.
