We are looking for a Commercial Property solicitor or lawyer, with ideally 2+ PQE. The ideal person will have experience handling commercial property work, including complex property and mortgage matters, and security work for commercial lenders such as banks and financial institutions. Strong research and drafting skills, a motivated approach and a commitment to delivering excellent client service will be important.
Working alongside the head of department and the wider team, you will manage a varied caseload in a busy and expanding practice. You will be trusted to handle matters with care and sound judgement, while contributing to the team’s work and building strong client relationships. An interest in business development and the ambition to thrive in a supportive, progressive environment will also be valued.

Its lawyers specialise in their respective fields and work collaboratively across the firm to provide clients with joined-up legal support. The firm combines a modern approach to legal services with a focus on keeping clients informed, making effective use of technology and ensuring they can access the lawyer handling their matter.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.

Advise on complex commercial property and mortgage matters.

Undertake security work for commercial lenders, including banks and financial institutions.

Research and draft documents and correspondence to support the effective progression of matters.

Work closely with the head of department and colleagues to deliver high-quality legal work.

Provide responsive, clear and exceptional service to clients throughout their matters.

Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Contribute to business development activity and support the continued growth of the department.

Manage competing priorities effectively within a busy and expanding team.
Experience and Skills Sought

Experience in Commercial Property and the ability to manage complex property and mortgage matters.

Experience of security work for commercial lenders, such as banks and financial institutions.

Open to a range of post-qualification experience levels.

Strong research and drafting skills, a driven work ethic, a collaborative approach and a commitment to excellent client service.
