We are looking for an experienced Corporate and/or Commercial Partner to help lead and grow a successful team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will be confident developing client relationships, approachable and commercially minded, and committed to delivering a high standard of service. You will enjoy building a high-quality client base and working collaboratively, referring matters to colleagues where they are better placed to help. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s Corporate or Commercial offering, while leading a team with the autonomy to work in a way that suits its clients. A client following or established relationships would be advantageous.
The Firm
Our client is a large UK legal services firm with a Bristol office and a growing Corporate and Commercial offering. Its culture is built around trust and collaboration: there are no individual billing targets, and colleagues are encouraged to refer work to the people best placed to handle it, so clients receive the right advice and service.
Partners have real autonomy to run their teams, and non-billable time is not tracked. The firm’s modern, high-quality offices provide a consistent environment across its locations, with flexibility to support family and personal commitments alongside time in the office. For a partner who values strong client relationships, collaborative working and the freedom to lead a team in a way that works for its clients, this is an opportunity to help shape the firm’s continued growth.
