We are looking for a qualified dispute resolution lawyer with litigation experience and the confidence to manage a busy caseload. The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially aware and committed to delivering excellent client service, with the judgement to take responsibility while recognising when to ask for support.

You will handle a varied caseload of privately funded commercial and civil disputes for organisations and individuals. Alongside managing your own matters and working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help strengthen client relationships and contribute to the team’s continued growth through business development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and assist with privately funded litigation for commercial and individual clients.

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial and civil disputes, including company and partnership matters, shareholder and director disputes, professional negligence claims, landlord and tenant disputes, franchise disputes and contractual claims.

  • Take responsibility for progressing matters, while working collaboratively with the team and under supervision where appropriate.

  • Provide a high standard of service to existing clients, maintaining effective and professional communication.

  • Build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.

  • Contribute to business development by promoting your practice and the firm, helping generate new work and supporting the department’s continued growth.

  • Use case management systems and other technology effectively to support the efficient handling of matters.

Experience and Skills Sought

  • Qualified lawyer with litigation experience in dispute resolution.

  • Required PQE: 0-6

  • Able to manage a busy caseload and work effectively within a team.

  • Proactive, organised, commercially aware and committed to excellent client service.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, IT and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to contribute to business development.
