We are looking for a Head of Commercial Property with ideally 7+ PQE to lead an established team at a progressive, supportive law firm. This is an opportunity for an accomplished commercial property solicitor, or an ambitious senior lawyer ready to take on their first departmental leadership role. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical experience with a collaborative, approachable style and a genuine interest in developing client relationships and growing a practice. You will lead and support the team, manage a varied caseload and help shape the department’s direction. You will also play an active part in business development and the firm’s wider growth strategy, with a transparent route to Partnership.
The Firm
Our client is a progressive law firm recognised for its client service, long-standing relationships and professional standards. The firm places importance on fairness and on recognising people as individuals, not simply by the numbers they bill. Its friendly, approachable culture is reflected in a genuine commitment to understanding clients’ needs and providing the right support.
The firm is continuing to grow and offers this role-holder the opportunity to influence the future of an established department, contribute to wider strategic plans and build strong relationships across the firm and its client base. The position is based in either Chippenham or Salisbury and offers meaningful autonomy for someone who wants to make a lasting contribution to the team’s development.
