We are looking for an experienced senior corporate lawyer ready to take the next step in building and shaping a practice focused on energy, infrastructure and real asset investment. The ideal candidate will bring relevant corporate transaction experience and a strong interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.

You will have the opportunity to develop the firm’s offering in investments centred on real assets, including energy, infrastructure and property such as hotels, student accommodation, development assets and offices. The work spans national and international transactions, including cross-border investments in high-value assets. You will work with sector teams across the firm and have the responsibility and independence to lead transactions and build client relationships. An enthusiasm for business development, profile building and networking will be important, with support to help you grow your practice.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the firm’s corporate offering in investments focused on energy, infrastructure and other real assets.

  • Advise on a range of national and international transactions, including cross-border investments in high-value assets.

  • Work collaboratively with sector teams, including those focused on energy, infrastructure development and Islamic finance.

  • Take responsibility for transactions and client relationships, exercising appropriate independence from the outset.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Contribute to business development for the team and firm, including profile-building and networking activities.

  • Help grow a sector-focused practice and contribute to the continued development of the wider corporate team.

Experience and Skills Sought

  • Senior corporate lawyer with experience in transactions involving energy, infrastructure or real estate assets.

  • Experience with cross-border transactions, Islamic finance or real asset investment funds is advantageous but not essential.

  • Self-motivated, commercially and client-focused, with an interest in business development and practice growth.

  • Ideal PQE: Senior Associate / Managing Associate level
